This postcard comes in nine languages. The front side conveys four key medication safety messages:
- Keep medication up high, out of reach of children
- Talk to your doctor before giving medication to your child
- Only use the measuring tool that came with your child’s medication
- Keep the poison center number in your phone: 1-800-222-1222
The back side provides information on how to contact the poison center. The English version lists the toll-free national help line, as well as how to reach the NNEPC via chat and text. The versions in other languages explain how to call the poison center and request interpretation services.
